“The best aspects of my game are my defensive zone work and hockey IQ. Expanding on hockey IQ, this is in reference to my ability to anticipate the play very well and be in the right spot at the right time. I’ve developed a very good sense of game flow throughout the years, and I believe that my anticipation of the game is what is going to allow me to advance my hockey career to the next level. Over the off-season I intend to work on my offensive awareness as well as my offensive positioning. Through the video I’ve noticed that I miss a lot of offensive opportunities due to my defensive mindset. My long-term plans for the future are to work towards a bachelor’s / master’s degree in biology and use it to open up doors into the world of medicine. I have not been in contact with any college / university scouts or recruiters.”
